Francesca Natali - Project Director
Francesca Natali spent her last 20 years in supporting early-stage entrepreneurs to become the next unicorns. She is board member of META Group and the managing director of META Ventures. From 2015, she a member of Venture Capital Commission at AIFI –Italian Association of Private Equity and Venture Capital. She is member of the screening committee of Women 4 Angels, the leading Italian female business angel club. She is engaged by the European Commission as Jury Member for 2nd step evaluation. Francesca has a strong experience in coaching entrepreneurs on how to define a successful fundraising strategy and pitch in front of risk capital investors.
Lorenzo Valeriani - Project Manager
Lorenzo Valeriani is a senior analyst at META Ventures and his main role is to scout the best start-ups through their pitch decks. From 2019 to 2021 he was one of the coaches in the Invest Horizon program which supported 500 European deep-tech start-ups in fundraising. He is part of the Seedstars and Bridge for billions mentors network, supporting early-stage ventures all-over the world. From 2020, he is a member of AIFI Young at AIFI – Italian Association of Private Equity and Venture Capital. For the last 7 years, he has been in touch with thousands of early-stage entrepreneurs and risk capital investors, putting efforts into finding the right “common language” to fuel the VC industry.
